It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Anne Joan Habib on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the age of 73. Beloved wife of Yusuf. Loving mother to Thanna Leah (Joe), and Claire (Mike). Dear grandmother of Derek, Bradley, Abigail and Charlotte. Friends may visit the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas Street West, Etobicoke on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Service will take place in the Chapel on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 4 p.m.

Very saddened to learn of Mama Habib passing away. She always was kind to me and I will always treasure the memories and times that we shared together. She called me her third daughter. I knew that she loved and cared about me and that is something I have carried proudly and will continue to do so. Mama Habib will be always loved and cherished. It was an honour to have met such a loving, kind, compassionate, sweet and gentle nature soul. My thoughts and prayers go to Mr Habib and Thanna and Claire and their families. Deepest condolences to you all whom I’ve always considered family.

I will never forget Aunt Anne at the piano in Mosspark. She was really good at getting a party going with friends and family alike.
