In Celebration of

Anna Theresa Jushkevich

August 25, 1933 -  December 4, 2023

Left this world on Monday, December 4, 2023, at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Devoted wife of David. Beloved by all her family: children, David (deceased), Joan, Paulanne, and John; their spouses, Stephen, Bill, and Jennifer; grandchildren, Elise and Jessica, Michael and Peter, Tayler, Matthew, and Allyia; their spouses, Jay and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Lilah and Avery. Dear to her brothers, Frank (deceased), Joseph (deceased), and Leo and their spouses, Jeannette (deceased), Colleen (deceased), Janet, and Johanna.
Anna was amazed that she reached the age of 90 and refused to use her cane because she said it would make her look old. She kept a steady supply of black licorice in the kitchen drawer, and loved cookies, her piano, and the birds who visited her over-stuffed feeder.
Anna was a talented music and elementary school teacher, a dedicated volunteer in the community and a devoted member of the St. Martin of Tours Church community to which she contributed her gifts as a musician, reader, and keeper of lists.

Friends and family are invited to join us. Visitation will take place at Turner and Porter Neweduk- Erin Mills Chapel on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 4-7 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (1290 McBride Ave, Mississauga) on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 10:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to Brescia University College or the Alzheimer Society of Peel.
