In Celebration of

Anna Piekny

January 8, 1942 -  September 21, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Piekny on September 21, 2025, at the age of 83. She was the beloved wife of the late Jozef Piekny, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage built on love and faith, and family. Together, they created a warm and welcoming home.

Anna and Jozef’s love story was one of quiet strength and steadfast devotion, a partnership rooted in care, mutual respect, and an unshakable commitment to family. She was a devoted mother to her two sons, Peter (Irene) and Andy (Margaret). She was a cherished grandmother to Benjamin, Nicholas, and Emma, who brought her great joy and pride.

Anna was a loving sister to the late Marian Maleszyk, the late Peter Maleszyk, and Teresa Misiewicz.

She will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends.

Gentle, caring, and devoted, Anna had a kind heart that touched everyone who knew her. She began her career as a seamstress, and later dedicated herself fully to raising her family. She had a gift for hospitality, always welcoming others into her home with warmth. Her cooking and delicious cakes were a highlight of many gatherings, bringing people together in love and laughter.

A woman of strong faith, Anna was a devoted Catholic, who found great comfort in her parish community and participated in church groups whenever she could.

She will be remembered for her generosity, her love for family, and her unwavering kindness.

Sorry to hear about your loss Andy & Peter. My memory of your mother is of kindness & her gentle manner. I remember your mother offering me my very first cheese danish when I was a child! My prayers go to you & your family, God Bless.
