We will miss you Dear Anna . We met when Laureen and I joined St Luke's United Church almost 40 years ago. You and Fred were very involved at St. Luke's, and as I recall, you were the "keeper of the church keys". When I became active myself, I was told to get a key from Anne (that's how most of us addressed you at St. Luke's). That's when I first met you.
You were always upbeat and even in latter years when you lived at Scarlet Heights Retirement home - you always had a positive outlook and never complained.
We regret the discomfort (significant pain) you endured in the last 3 weeks and are happy to know that you are at peace now and with The Lord and your Dear Fred.
I have very fond memories of both your Mom and Dad

I met your Mom when I invited a church friend to lunch and learned that your Mom drove her to / from church ... so I said "bring Anna along for lunch too" ! I so enjoyed meeting her and have enjoyed visiting with her at church ever since. I'm dumbfounded to learn that she was 95 ..... she was such a go getter that I would have thought she was decades younger! She was a neat lady, friendly and capable. We will definitely miss her at church. I'm so sorry that you've lost her from your day to day lives, but I'm positive you will have wonderful memories. Unfortunately, we're not free for the funeral tomorrow, plus I want to leave the spots open to ensure your immediately family and close friends can attend. Enjoy the service - I'm certain that you will tell many heartwarming stories of your lives together.
