In Celebration of

Anna Lillian Toner

August 3, 1999 -  August 26, 2019

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Toner, from brain cancer, at the age of 20. Anna is survived by her father Bruce, mother Louise, older sister Helen, grandparents Bob and Edith Beddie (Belleville), and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by grandparents Bruce and Eleanor Toner.
Anna was a dedicated student of Environmental Engineering at the University of Western Ontario, which reflected her lifelong interest in nature and love of the outdoors. She loved the arts as well, as a dancer for 13 years, circus artist, and violinist. Anna enjoyed sports, including gymnastics and soccer, and loved to go on adventures travelling with family. She was an optimistic and dedicated fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Argonauts. Anna was a hardworking, sweet, kind girl, and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Friends may call at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, on Tuesday September 4th, 2019 from 4-8 pm. Celebration of Life service to be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11 am. Following the service, at 12 pm, a reception will be held at the Swansea School of Dance, in Windermere United Church, 356 WIndermere Avenue, 2 blocks South of Bloor Street. Please use the Mayfield Avenue entrance.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in remembrance of Anna to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, to support their research, or the Nature Conservancy, to support Anna's passion of environmental conservation.
