In Celebration of

Anna Leonardi

November 28, 1934 -  December 15, 2020

Born in L’Aquila, Italy, Anna Leonardi peacefully passed away at the age of 86 at home on Tuesday, December 15, 2020.

Pre-deceased by her husband Elzo & son Tony. Will be deeply missed and remembered by her son John, grandchildren Mathew, Adriana, Leanna, Alicia, great-grandson Bruno, daughters-in-law Teresa and Roberta, and sister Annunziata.

The funeral church service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2020 and is available for viewing LIVE at this link: https://stcatherine.ca/live-mass/ (copy and paste into browser).

Anna was a strong, reliable, and selfless person. She enjoyed gardening, simultaneously using two slot machines, and spending time with her family. She contributed significantly to raising her grandchildren and was there for Bruno’s most exciting moments in his first year of life. If anyone ever needed to remember something, Anna always had the answer stored away in her never-ending memory.

Now, she will remain forever in our memories.

Due to all of the present restrictions on gatherings, we have already contacted the select few individuals that we can invite for the funeral services. For those that are unable to attend, we would appreciate it if you left a special memory in the guest book or upload a photo to this site.

For those who wish, donations may be made to Lung Health Foundation (https://tinyurl.com/rpjvs3h) or Heart & Stroke Foundation (https://tinyurl.com/y8ac29b4). Donations are preferable to flowers, please.

A beautiful light and energy left us with the passing of zia Anna. You led by example - kind, generous and true. We will miss you, but know you are at peace and with those who have gone before you. We love you, zia Anna.
