In Celebration of

Anna Dick

October 27, 1927 -  September 16, 2022

Passed away peacefully at the Erinview Retirement Home on Friday, September 16, 2022, a month short of her 95th birthday. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 49 years, Traugott Dick. Loving mother to Christa (Paul) Swirla and Robert (Wendy) Dueck. Loving Oma to Katie, Meagan, Christopher, and Stephen and step-Oma to Mitch (Kari) Fanning.

She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her in a long life well lived. Anna was born in the small town of Reichesdorf in Romania and through an arduous series of events found herself in Canada in 1951. Shortly thereafter in 1953, she married the love of her life, Traugott. Together they enjoyed a life full of love and happiness, unfortunately, shortened due to the onset of Traugott’s Parkinson's disease.
Anna will be truly missed.

In lieu of flowers, and in remembrance of Traugott, donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation would be appreciated.

Tante Annie will be missed by us all, but the happy memories we shared at
The cottage will be treasured for a life time. Annie is up in heaven with Traugott, Georg, and Katharina reminising just as we are. Bless them all.

She was someone we could talk to
That no one can replace.
She was someone we could count on,
To wipe tears from our face.
She was someone we could turn to
When we needed a helping hand.
Put your arms around her Lord,
Please treat her with special care;
Make up for all her suffering,
And all that was unfair.
Her memory is our keepsake,
With which we’ll never part.
God has her in His keeping,
We have her in our heart.
