ADAMOWICH, Anna Nellie (nee Kucher) passed away on July 25th, 2023 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her doting parents Julia and Emil Kucher. Beloved wife of 67 years to Morris Adamowich. Loving mother to Patricia Glover (Wayne Menichan) & Gregory (Katherine) and proud Baba to Kristin Glover (David Tanguay) and her favorite pup “Fin”.

Graduating from Ryerson Institute of Technology in 1955, from Industrial Chemistry, she would go on to be a Lab Technician for beauty products at Richard Hudnut until starting a family business alongside her husband.

Anna will be deeply missed, not only by her family, but by the many friends she made while pursuing her passion for community service within the Canadian and Ukrainian organizations she served. Anna was a proud life-long member of the Ukrainian Women’s Organization (OYK).

A patron of the performing arts and an avid sports viewer, Anna looked forward to spending an afternoon at the theatre or sharing her perspectives on the latest golf and tennis matches.

Anna led with a compassionate heart, creative flair and light spirit, reminding us that you always get better results with honey than vinegar.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Monday from 5-8 p.m. Panahyda 7 p.m. Funeral Rite will be held at St. Josaphats Ukrainian Church, 110 Franklin Ave, Toronto, on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 11 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery.
