In Celebration of

Aniela Kryskiw

July 5, 1936 -  September 21, 2023

Aniela, lovingly known as Angie or Baba passed on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at age 87 from natural causes in the peace of her and her daughter Vera's home in Mississauga, Ontario.

Angie was born to the late Tadeuz and Zofia on July 5,1936, in Poland; the eldest sibling to brother (Michal, deceased) and sister (Kasia).

Loving wife of Mykola (predeceased 1976) and partner of Bohdan (predeceased 2010), she leaves behind her loving daughter Vera and her grandchildren Nicole (Kevin) and Matthew (Blanca) plus her grandcats Missy and Jack. Angie will also be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends as well as the many honorary grandchildren that Nicole and Matthew brought into her life.

Playing the slots was one of many of Angie's favorite things to do, her trips to Niagara Falls was something she never wanted to miss out on. She also loved to read books and play her Sudoku, even in her old age she kept her brain active until the very end. In her younger days, she loved to travel; whether it was up north to the cottage in Wasaga Beach or down south in one of many tropical countries. She was always quick to care about her grandkids- we never could go to her house without either our stomachs or wallets filled and she wouldn't take no for an answer- "You like this!" she would belt out with her heavy accent. She had a personality like no other and will be remembered for her many Angie-isms and the stories they led to.

She had it all planned out in the end- she waited for her grandkids to all come see her one last time and left peacefully without a lot of pain, a blessing that we all wanted for her as she now rests with her loving husband.
