Rest in Peace.
To the great Warmuz. A lost boy's story.

There was a time when I was a young man to put it nicely. Realistically a poorly mentored and lost child working at Vipond.

One can imagine the pressures someone like me at such a young age at 19 must have felt to be tossed into a professional world with essentially a cast system. I was too Polish to be accepted by the Vipond Canadians and too Canadian to be accepted by the Vipond Polish. I was in no mans land till I went on "night shift" and enter Andy. One tough SOB who gave coached me harder then anyone else but when it mattered, was the one who told me he had my back and showed it. I wish I could share more details but those my friends, stay with Andy and I and the ones who suffered his wrath, you know but you won't say.

Because of Andy I felt at home in Vipond and if anyone ever had a problem with that, and some did, Andy said too bad and that much to my chagrin, was the end of that.

To all the unspeakable Andrzej, you were my work dad and because of that example, it helped me be the same for other troubled youth that needed me to be what you were for me. I am a man today and much of my manhood today, was learned from you.

Till we meet again.
