Andrzej Marek Maj (Andy May) our beloved father passed away suddenly in his sleep at the age of 69 on January 18, 2024, in Cuenca Ecuador, where his wonderful sense of adventure brought his heart and body to rest. Andrzej was born in Opatów Poland where he grew up. Through hard work and dedication he became an engineer, later moving to Germany for a brief time and then settling down along with his late brother, Jan in Canada, where he made his home. He was always very proud to be Polish-Canadian and being up north always brought him closer to his brother. Andrzej was a proud father and very hard working man. He had many achievements and walked many paths in life where with his beautiful soul and sense of humor he captured many hearts and made many wonderful friends along the way. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his daughters, Joanne Maj and Maya Maj; his wife, Joanna Maj; his sister, Małgorzata Nawrocka; brother-in-law Grzegorz Nawrocki; nephews, Maciek Nawrocki and Kuba Nawrocki and all of his dear friends and family around the world. With heavy hearts we welcome our friends and family to join us for the Funeral Mass that will be celebrated at St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, 277 Park Lawn Rd., Etobicoke, on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. Enichment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery, 2845 Bloor St W, Etobicoke.
