Andriana Evans

August 20, 1931 -  June 9, 2021

Passed away peacefully on June 9th, 2021.

Born in Mazatos, Cyprus, daughter of Lazarus Ayiotis and Eleni Ayiotis, sister to Phaedon(Fred) Ayiotis, Frosso (predeceased) and George (predeceased) and Haridemos Ayiotis (predeceased).

Andriana was a loving wife to Charles James Evans (predeceased September 2006) for over 49 years. Passionate caring mother of Frank and James (Jim) and beloved mother-in-law of Sandra and Morag. “Nana” was adored by her grandchildren: Christine Paiva (Evans), Valerie Evans and David Evans.

Andriana grew up in Cyprus and was a professional seamstress then but immigrated to England in 1953 where she met her husband, Charles Evans. The family immigrated to Mississauga, Canada in 1966 and Charles started a cable TV amplifier business. Nana moved from sewing clothes to soldering circuit boards on her kitchen table. She will be remembered as a humorous, strong, loving, devoted mother and adoring grandmother.

Due to Covid restrictions visitation will be by invitation only for close relatives and will be at 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, L5B1M8.

The funeral service (by invitation only) will be at 11 a.m. at Sts. Martha and Mary Parish, 1870 Burnhamthorpe Rd. East., Mississauga.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
