In Celebration of

Andrej Cvetkovic

May 1, 2003 -  December 15, 2023

Andrej, the dearest and most beloved son of Olivera and Dejan, brother of Tiana, cousin to Adrian, Mila, Petra, Natasha, Vanja, and Pavle, nephew of Sanja, grandson of Ljilja and Rade, nephew to Ivan and the late Karolina, and friend to many, showed the world the meaning of kindness and unconditional love. His presence alone was enough to turn a bad day into a good one, characterized by his gentle nature, beautiful smile, and the light in his eyes.

He cherished time spent with friends and family, earning love and admiration from everyone around him. His gentle and sensitive nature established him as a friend to both people and animals. From a young age, he was affectionately called the "animal whisperer."

Andrej's mind was both brilliant and special, marked by an innate wisdom that frequently surprised others with insights far beyond his years. When he embarked on a new endeavor, he displayed an amazing ability to learn and master it to perfection.

From an early age, Andrej was known for being thoughtful, considerate, and deeply empathetic, attuned to the needs of others. He had a unique capacity to feel what others were experiencing, making them feel understood and accepted.

He reminded everyone that hard times can bring people closer together. In these difficult times, his loved ones find solace in each other's embrace, treating one another with kindness and compassion. They vow to savor moments with family and friends, to share their feelings, particularly in challenging times, and to show empathy to one another. Andrej's wish for the world was for family, friends, togetherness, empathy, compassion, kindness, and love.

His legacy will continue as a celebration of all that is pure and good. His purity and lightness will forever shine in the hearts of those who knew him until they meet again. It is believed that he is now laughing and smiling with Tia Karolina, Baba, and Deda.

Friends are invited to visit the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke, on Wednesday, December 20th, from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Service is scheduled in the Chapel on Thursday, December 21st, at 10 a.m., followed by interment at Park Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Andrej's memory may be made to the CAMH Foundation www.camh.ca to support unseen mental health issues.
