My sincere condolences, to my God sisters and their families. A great man, not only to his family but to everyone. I have many memories of my Godfather taking us to WWF, at Maple Leaf Gardens, The Ex, breakfasts, trips to Buffalo, watching Santa Claus parade, sleeping over, listening to his stories of Greece. I very fortunate to have my spiritual father , my nouno.
Καλο παραδεισο, καλο ταξιδι νουνε, την ευχη σου
I remember the many times when I was young and would go with my father to visit Theo Andy and Thea Eleni during the summer months on their porch. We would drink pop and they'd entertain me and one another with stories of 'ta palia hronia' and their experiences together. I really enjoyed listening to their amusing stories and animated discussions, and sharing in their laughter and nostalgia. They had a special bond, those three, and I like to think of them now sitting around rehashing those same stories for everyone else to enjoy too! I miss my father a lot, and I miss Thea Eleni. Now I will also be missing Theo Andy as well. But, I have a feeling they are all laughing and have a party. And I'm happy for that. Filakia Polla!!
Joanne and family, our deepest and sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved father. May fond memories of your father bring you comfort and solace during this time. Our prayers go out to you and your family
I knew Andy from the Apollo 11 restaurant. Everyone there knew him as a real gentleman. I'm sort of a regular customer at the Apollo, and I remember the days when Andy and Steve and their wives ran the restaurant. They were all hardworking and honest people. In more recent years I got to know Andy as a wise person who always had an optimistic outlook, easy to talk to, and with never a bad word about others. A very fine person. My deepest condolences on your loss.
