Anastazja Fil

January 1, 1936 -  August 31, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anastazja Fil at the age of 85 at St Joseph’s Health Centre in the early morning on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.


Loving wife of the late Dmytro Fil, beloved mother to Anne, Teresa (James) and John, and proud and adoring grandmother to Sasha and Alex. She will also be greatly missed by her sister Anna and close circle of friends and family. She loved to tend to her garden and always looked forward to chatting with friends and family over coffee.


Anastazja was born on January 1, 1936 in Dobra, Ukraine, and immigrated with her husband from Poland to Toronto in May 1972 with 3 young children.


A special thank you to the staff and doctors at St Joseph’s Health Centre on the Queensway for the care and attention paid to her during stay.
