June 30, 1924 - August 31, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anastazia Melnyk on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at the age of 98. Predeceased by her loving husband Paul Melnyk and beloved daughter Anna Zammit. Loving mother of Peter (Irena) and Bob (Gail). Adored mother in law of Joe Zammit. Cherished Baba of Mark , Lisa (Larry), Tom (Kris), Andrew (Kim), Kyle (Sarah), and Alexa (Adam). Proud great -grandmother to Jeremy, Keenan, Ashley, Tyler, Riley, Emersyn and Marley. She will forever be remembered with love and admiration by her cousins' in Ukraine Lena (Yura), Tanya and their families. Anastazia will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy10 N of QEW) on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Josephat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 100 Franklin Ave, Toronto on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.

Baba was a lovely lady and so lucky to have had a caring family. She was included in every activity and always helped to prepare Thanksgiving dinner at Troutspawn with Anna and Lisa. But Joe was her guardian angel here on earth. He is amazing man. God bless!
