Anastasia "Tasia" Mandrapilias

August 24, 1924 -  May 4, 2025

“Our dear mother and Grandmother, Anastasia (Tasia) passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Vila Forum LTC Home in Mississauga where she spent the last few years of her life.

Tasia with her late husband Constantine and two young children came to Canada from Xirokambi, Sparta in 1957 in order to make a better life for themselves.

She was a remarkable woman with a strong faith and an amazing memory. She loved her family dearly and had a lot of friends.

Tasia was the beloved wife to the late Constantine. She was the mother to the late Peter, wife Helen and grandchildren Stacie & Dean (Nicole) she was also the mother to Nick, wife Eva and grandchildren Tessa (Emilio) & Angeline.

May you Rest in Peace.”

Visitation will be held at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church (1785 Matheson Blvd, Mississauga)Friday, May 9, 2025 at 10:00 am

Followed by Service at 11:00 am at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church

Interment following service at: St. John’s Dixie Cemetery (737 Dundas St. E. Mississauga)


Traditional meal will be at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church following Intermittent.

Θεία Τασία was like a second mother to us, and we loved her as such. We admired her for her passion for life, her level headedness, her positivity and her kindness.
