It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Alicja. She died peacefully at the age of 71. Much loved mother of Agata (Jerzy) and Artur (Angelica). Loving grandmother to Suzanna.

Alicja was born in Poland and immigrated to Toronto, starting a successful business as a hairdresser in the Roncesvalles Polish community.

She will be fondly remembered by her friends and family in Canada and in Poland.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Thursday September 8, 2022 from 6-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Casimir’s Church, 156 Roncesvalles Ave, Toronto, ON M6R 2L4 , on Friday September 9, 2022 at 10 am. Interment to follow at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Society.
