Al Batarla (65) of Mississauga Ontario passed on September 25, 2024 peacefully after a courageous battle with Lymphoma. He was born on September 29th, 1958 to Motiejus and Aldona Batarla (predeceased) in Toronto, Ontario. He was an avid ATV enthusiast, and hockey fan. Al is survived by his two daughters Amy (Jordan) and Lindsay Batarla, sister Irene (Paul) Lombardi and nieces Krysta (Stefan) and Alyssa Lombardi.

Memorial visitation will be on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 starting at 10:30 am at the Lithuanian Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, 2185 Stavebank Road, Mississauga, followed by a Funeral Mass in the Church, at 11am. Interment will follow the service, at St. John's Lithuanian Cemetery.

Reception to follow at Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 582 -Members Club, 456 Hensall Circle, Mississauga, L5A 1X7 from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
