The Stanevičiai are one of the finest, most honest, and caring families that I've ever had the pleasure of being close to, top to bottom. You bring the best out of everyone that's around you. Hang your heads high for being a part of something so unique and special, and carry it forward. Su meilės ir šypsena.

As the father of our good friends, I was honoured to have known Ponas Stanevicius since childhood. He saw beauty in the everyday, from school plays to nature and especially in his grandchildren, and openly shared his joy. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he enriched. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family.

Dear Vida, Ona and Matthew,

I am with you in spirit on this day, as you lay your husband, and father to rest. It was such a privilege to have been with you and Alfie in his last days. I will remember him in happier times, as I am sure you will as well. Tell “The Alfie Stories” especially to each other and his grandchildren. I believe that one’s spirit becomes present to us, through the telling of the stories.

With deepest sympathy,

Jerry Norton

Alfie was a cherished member of our fishing club. We've known him for many years. He was our humorist. He loved playing cards in the evening. He took his fishing very seriously. He was good at it. He will so be missed.
