It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and godmother.

Alexina Theriault passed away at the age of 85 years old with her granddaughter Sherri-Lynn by her side on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Credit Valley Hospital.

Born in Inkerman, New Brunswick, on August 3, 1939. Alexina was the daughter of Edmond and Cecile Boudreau. She married her loving husband Eddy Theriault with whom she shared 67 years of marriage.

Loving mother of Cecile (Gordon), Rene (Sally), Denis (Michelle), and her 5 grandchildren, Andrew (Meaghan), Joseph, Sherri-Lynn (Chris), Cody (Camille), Kyle, and great-granddaughter Melina, godmother to Raymond Landry, Carol Godin, and Jacqueline Stafford.

Alexina was predeceased by her parents, Edmond and Cecile Boudreau, her beloved husband Eddy, her brother Romeo (Melodia), and her sisters Melina, Dorina (Charles), Adele, Bella, and Lina. Also seven brothers-in-law: Gerard (Theresa), Leonce (late Louise), Don (late Marjorie), Thomas (Lucille), Archie (Theresa) and Albert (late Diane).

Alexina is survived by her brother-in-law, Philippe Robichaud, her three sisters-in- law, Anna (Peter Landry), Aline, and Theresa (late Zoel Babineau), and her three brothers-in-law, Armand (late Imelda), Theo (Ella), and Wilfred (Claire). She will also be missed by cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and her four-legged babies, Ivy and Mya.

Family and friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel Chapel”, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (HWY 10, N. of QEW), from 2 PM until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 3 PM, reception to follow after service at Turner & Porter.
