In Celebration of

Aldona Valadka

November 1, 1919 -  August 29, 2022

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Aldona Valadka (nee Stripinis) on August 29th, two months shy of her 103rd birthday.

Aldona "Danute" was born in Laizuva, Lithuania where she became a pharmacist. After arriving in Canada in 1949 she married Dr. Aleksas Valadka (predeceased).

She leaves behind her sons Andrius (Karen), Mikas (Dalia), Raimundas, 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Aldona loved gardening, travel, opera and in her later years, playing canasta. Her kindness, compassion for others and limitless capacity for seeing the world in a positive light will be remembered by all who knew her.

Funeral mass will be held September 29th at the Lithuanian Martyrs Church, 2185 Stavebank Road, Mississauga. Visitation is at 9:00 a.m. followed by mass at 10:30 a.m. with interment after. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Labdara Nursing Home would be appreciated.
