In Celebration of

Alden Boudreau Campbell

January 14, 1957 -  January 22, 2019

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Alden Boudreau Campbell on January 22, in Toronto, at the age of 62. Daughter of the late Betty (nee Young) and Lt. Col (Ret.) Peter Campbell. Dear sister of Alix and Ian Campbell. Loving Aunt of Maxwell Perone and Godmother of Derek King. Alden will be sadly missed by her brother in law Jack Perone, Aunts Nan Hullin and Kay Campbell as well as her cousins and many dear friends at home and abroad. Alden had a rich life filled with many memorable and fearless adventures through her extensive travels (to over 50 countries around the world), her successful career as a bank executive and mentor for newcomers to Canada, her love for and participation in the arts, her dedication to her friends and family as well as her philanthropic support of orphanages in Nepal and India, World Vision and Keva. Alden’s endless energy, passion for life and “can do” attitude were an inspiration and envy to us all. A Celebration of Alden’s life will be held, details to follow. If desired, donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Canada Foundation.

Our deepest condolences to all the family. Alden will surely be missed. She lived twice the life in her 62 Years. I feel I have lived vicariously though her. What will I do now? The entire family and Alix especially were so supportive though Alden’s journey she was a lucky lady.

Alden was a beautiful person who I knew in high school. She was full of life, kind and creative. Many would aspire to be like her. She was a gentle soul who went the extra mile to ensure you were heard and respected. Rest In Peace my friend. Xoxo

Alden was one of my engaging and delightful clients. But I felt that I got to know her on a much more personal level than that of client/advisor. I love the picture of her in the announcement. It is her. It is where she is now. I will sorely miss her.
