Agnes de Almeida nee Jacobs - previously from Dar-es-Salaam, passed away peacefully, after suffering a stroke and lenghty illness of 13 years, at the Village of Erin Meadows Retirement Home.
Wife of the late Ricardo de Almeida, and loving mother to Ashley(Lighta) Godinho (UK), step-mum to Walter/Lazarina, William and Wendy. Doting grandmother to Aaron and Alexio, Rachel-Anne(Cameron), Kristina and Shaun. Agnes was the daughter of the late David and Lexmi Jacobs (Madras), and was cherished by the sisters at St. Joseph’s Convent School, later working for the Ministry of Defence.
Funeral Details:
Visitation: Thursday, April 4th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Turner & Porter Neweduk Chapel Funeral Home, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga, ON, L5K 1R2.
Funeral Service: Mass will be held at Merciful Redeemer Parish Church, 2775 Erin Centre Blvd., Mississauga, ON L5M 5W2 at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 5th followed by the burial at the Assumption Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga, ON, L5K 1N4. A reception to follow at the Turner & Porter Neweduk Chapel Funeral Home, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga, ON, L5K 1R2.
