In Celebration of

Adeline (Addie) Motton (nee Wilson)

May 23, 1934 -  June 8, 2020

It is with profound sadness we announce that Addie passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children on Monday June 8 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years William Motton Sr. (Bill) and son Bill, she is survived by her daughter Sue (Jim), sons Jim (Debbie) and Todd (Melissa), grandchildren Kathy, Ryan, Jennifer, James, Kristin, Bryan, Haileigh and Lauren and great-grandchildren Annika, Sophie, Annabelle, Oliver, Giuliana and Evie, who knew her as Grandy.

Addie was born in Dunrobin ON, and was the youngest daughter of John and Isabel Wilson. She is also survived by brothers Mervyn and David and predeceased by sisters Violet, Mary, Charlotte, Loretta, Jessie, Grace and Helen and brothers John, George, Eddie, Hartley and Alan. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Addie’s life will be confirmed at a later date when all who loved her can attend. In the meantime, we ask you to share a laugh and raise a toast to this wonderful lady.

Sending your love and support at this time is very much appreciated and we will welcome your messages of condolences.

For those who wish, please consider making a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Paul's Anglican Church, 1118 Thomas Ave, Dunrobin, ON, or the MS Society of Canada.

Memories of her love and fantastic sense of humour will forever be in our hearts.

I am so very sorry to hear about Aunt Adeline. She was a great lady.
Losing someone so dear is always difficult, but even more challenging during these crazy times. Please know that I am thinking of you, and hope that you will find some peace in your many wonderful memories.
Love,
Heather
