In Celebration of

Ada Alexandria Cooke

May 22, 1931 -  August 11, 2021

Ada’s mind remained sharp as a tack, but her body failed her in her 91st year. The time came for Ada to be reunited with her dear and loving husband Frank who predeceased her in 2015.

Ada passed with dignity surrounded by abundant love at her home in Mississauga, with her “pride and joy” daughter Linda and son-in-law Andrew McConnell by her side.

Born in Apsley, Ontario in 1931, Ada met her soulmate Frankie, in Long Branch’s “Gulch” and they were married in 1952. In 1964 they welcomed their only child, Linda and enjoyed a life well lived together for 63 years.
Ada lived an active life and loved the company of family and friends.

Jokingly, upon her passing, it is likely the “Casina” and LCBO may have to lay off staff.

She was quick to start a conversation, share a laugh, and ask many direct questions, but she was also a good listener and genuinely interested in everyone’s well being. Ada was a very strong lady with a fighting spirit who inspired and encouraged many. Ada’s positive attitude and friendly disposition remained until the end. Ada was loved and will be missed by so very many, but never forgotten. All that knew her have gained a guardian angel.

Until we are all together again
