Peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Toronto, on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the age of 89. Born February 11, 1928 in Lublin, Poland. Loving daughter of the late Emilia and Feliks Kwiecień. Beloved wife of Władysław for over 70 years. Cherished mother of Alinka (Alice) Stasiuk, her husband John and her dearly departed daughter Danusia (Donna) Baruk and her husband Ryszard. Adored Babcia of Marlene and Edward Diamond, Sherry and Taras Skirko, Johnny Stasiuk, Mikey Baruk, and Pra Babcia of Johnny and Sammy Skirko, and dearly departed Lucy Skirko, Victoria and Bentley Diamond. She was one of seven children and is survived by her sister Basia Welman and her brother Zbygniew Kwiecień. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Casimir’s Church, 156 Roncesvalles Ave., Toronto, on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 10:15 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery.
