In Celebration of

Zofia Kokocka

February 19, 1931 -  March 28, 2020

It is with great sadness the family of Zofia Kokocka announces her passing at the age of 89. May the Lord Jesus Christ take her to him.
Mother, Grandmother, and Great–Grandmother passed away at home of an unexpected heart-attack.
Zofia is survived by her loving daughter Miroslawa (Bohdan Cup, and grandson Nicholas), her adoring son Bohdan (Bozena Kokocka, granddaughters Natalia and Sylwia and great-grandsons Phillip & David).
Zofia was youngest of six siblings who all predeceased her. Early life in Europe was not easy for Zofia as war broke out when she was only 8 years old, just as she was about to start school. She survived the war and eventually married Michal Kokocki in 1957 and had 2 devoted children, Miroslawa and Bohdan.
Her dedicated husband Michal passed away in 1970 and Zofia was left to raise her children on her own.
In 1989 Zofia moved to Canada to live with her daughter. She enjoyed life in her new country. Soon she became a grandmother 3 times. She lived her last years with her daughter, son-in-law and grandson whom she adored with all her heart.
