Zenon Nikola Mysakowec

February 22, 1958 -  January 21, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Zenon NIkola Mysakowec on January 21, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Beloved brother, father, and grandfather, he lived a full life dedicated to family. He was born in Toronto on February 22, 1958 and grew up in the Bloor West Village Ukrainian community where he established many friendships. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who was in need. Zenon worked as a Locomotive Engineer for VIA Rail, and was an entrepreneur with various businesses on the side, namely Swansea Brew Club and AZCash.

Zenon is predeceased by his parents Stefan and Jaroslava Mysakowec. He is survived by his wife Natalia, sons Stefan (Tina), and Borys, daughter Sonya, and granddaughter Maddison; his brother, Andrew (Roma), and nieces, Taisa, Oleksa, and Ulana.

Visitation will be held at Turner and Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. West, Etobicoke M9A 1B6, on Thursday, January 26, from 3-8pm. Panakhyda will be at 7:00. A funeral service will be held at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church on Friday, January 27 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal, Canada Ukraine Foundation https://www.cufoundation.ca.
