In Celebration of

Yvette Hills (nee Spieser)

March 6, 1928 -  September 27, 2019

Passed away peacefully, on Friday, September 27, 2019, at the age of 92. Predeceased by her beloved husband Richard in 2001. Born in Paris, France, lived in Geneva and Evian, moved to England as an au pair where she met the dashing Naval Officer, Richard, moved to Ontario in 1952, and was happily married for 50 years. Yvette will be deeply missed by her 3 children, Denise (Chris), Roger (Terry Ann), Jennifer (Michael), her cherished grandchildren Michael (Erica), Matthew (Laily), Andrew (Sarah), Victoria (Jason), Mitchell and Cameron. Great Grandchildren, Claire, Evie, Noah and Trevor. Yvette was an avid bridge player and an enthusiastic armchair football fan. Known to her family as Meme, she will be fondly remembered for her sense of humor, delicious home cooking, impeccable fashion sense, shopping savvy, and amusing words of wisdom. The Celebration of Yvette’s Life is on Friday, October 4, 2019, at 3 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Breast Cancer research would be greatly appreciated by the family.

I am truly sorry for your loss. From all I've heard from Denise, Yvette sounded like a wonderful woman and a great mother.
