On April 22nd, 2023, Xavier passed away peacefully in his parents’ arms after a twelve year battle with Sandhoff Disease. He defied all odds and expectations.

Xavier leaves behind his sister, Brigitte, parents, Daniela Ruso and Lucanor Silva and puppies, Scooter and Brutus, a large extended family and many friends who helped take care of him, teach him and support us.

Without ever saying a word, Xavier taught us more than we could have ever imagined. Without lifting a finger, he inspired us and others to move mountains. We miss you Xavier a.k.a. Mr. Magoo/Captain Xavier.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 3-7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, May 1st at 11 a.m. followed by a private interment.
