Won Kyoon Shin passed peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital after a very brave battle with cancer. He is dearly missed by his wife of 32 years, In-Soon (Sophie) Shin and his daughter Krystal as well as his many family and friends.

Even in his last days, he was gracious, greeting all his visitors with a smile. He was a humble and kind man, with a sweet innocence that made him immune to greed and callous. Anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing him, even for a small moment, will see that more people like him are needed in this world.
