Winnie Sweet, nee Roberts, November 5, 1926 – April 7, 2018.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Winnie Sweet, on Saturday, April 7, 2018, surrounded by her family.

She will be sadly missed by her beloved twin sister Thelma Roberts. Loving mother to Thelma Bromley (Jim), and cherished grandmother to Sarah Bromley-Gilmour (Ryan) and Stephen.

She passed away in her 92nd year. We feel blessed she was able to enjoy a full life up until the final days.

The dignity and compassion provided by the Palliative Care Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital were beyond our expectations and we are grateful.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
