Peacefully on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Allendale LTC in Milton, in his 89th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Frances (DeMarc). Loving father of Judi Ryan, Michael Ryan and Patricia Smirlies (James). Proud grandfather of Michelle, Shawn (Nicole), Sarah, Cody, Cameron (Cassandra) and Kyla. Great Grandfather to Michael, Nickolas, Toni, Tarina, Landon and Chayce. Bill will be missed by his family and friends. Over 50 years of service as a member of the 48 Highlanders and the Knights of Columbus. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (east of Erin Mills), from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 18th, 2018 at St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2300 Burnhamthorpe Rd. W., Mississauga, at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Thornhill. If desired, remembrances may be made to the Allendale LTC Willow Foundation.
