So sorry to read of Mr. Collett’s passing. I have many fond memories of him on the beach throwing the stick into the water as his beloved dogs went out and played catch. As well as helping him out at Eddie Bauer as he shopped for his employees holiday gifts. Always a smile, always a story, deeply missed. My deepest condolences. Lesley
Dear Katie, I'm so very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was an extraordinary man - kind, warm, so interested in other people. I have fond memories of our trip to Jamaica and visits to your cottage with him. Lots of love to you all. Al
My late husband, Stephen Renton, was a high school friend of Bill’s. Along with Mark Butler we had great memories of time spent with Bill at Billy’s Shack at Edmore Beach before the cottage was built there by Bill’s father.
Great games of Scrabble, trips to Greasy Frank’s for wonderful hamburgers, days spent in the sun on the beach.
He was a great friend! Wonderful memories!
In his later years when he worked at Grand and Toy he became acquainted with my son, Glen, who also worked there.
My sympathy to the Collett family!
Margaret Renton
