Bill and I met in the early 80s when I used his company to produce some awnings for a large grocery store. Since then, they have worked on many projects of mine. Bill was truly one of the "good ones". He was always available for a site visit or a phone chat, and his patient, low key demeanor went a long way in keeping things calm on the job. Even in later years he was able to joke about his condition and resulting dietary restrictions. I always enjoyed talking with him and sharing the latest gossip surrounding the design and retail world. I'll miss those talks, and I'll miss him.
You don't only lost a father, but your best friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you
My condolences to Jason, Danielle and the rest of the family.
My family and I feel blessed to have known Bill as he was truly a wonderful person.
May god rest his soul.

Bill you are one of a kind and will be greatly missed by all those whose lives you have touched. Your kindness will always be a reminder to us all to care about each other, and to do right by each other. The example you set is one that will play forward by the many people who knew you. You are missed already but your legacy lives on.
My deepest and heartfelt condolences go out to the Roberts family at this time of great sadness! I only knew Bill for a short time as we had many conversations through business at Highland Farms. I truly respected him and on the few occasions that I got to see him personally it was always a pleasure. May God watch over the Robert's family at this time. Bill, may you rest in peace free from any pain and know that we at Highland Farms will miss you dealy :( xoxoxo
