In Celebration of

Wendy Traub

January 17, 1944 -  September 15, 2016

Surrounded by the love of her family on September 15, 2016. Best friend and wife of Tony for 50 years and mother and confidante of Jennifer (Doug McKee), Kathryn (Randy Shea) and Amanda (Rob Magwood). Grandmother of Izzy, Paige, Quinn and Piper. Loving daughter of the late Jack and Sylvia Craig and sister of John, Deb and Peg.
Wendy lit up every room with her radiant personality, genuine warmth and bright wardrobe, as captured in this recent photo. The Traub household was a second home for many friends and family, where Wendy listened, laughed and entertained. She was bright, engaged and interested, and made strong connections leaving a lasting impression on so many lives. Wendy loved a good party, a nice glass of red wine and getting low on a dance floor. Her warm and generous spirit will live strong in her three girls and four granddaughters, all who absolutely adored and cherished her. Private family service to be held. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., on Wednesday, September 21, from 5 – 9 p.m. A celebration of Wendy’s life to be held in October. In memory of Wendy, memorial donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation. Condolences at www.turnerporter.ca

Tony, Paul and I are very sorry to hear of the passing of Wendy. Although we didn't know one another for very long, we enjoyed chatting and meeting you both. I'm sure it is very difficult to loose your life long love, friend and soul mate, but we hope you find comfort with your family and close friends who love and adore you both.

Take care!

We were so saddened by Wendy’s passing.
Although often separated by geography, Wendy has been a dear friend to the two of us and our family for over 50 years, we will miss her greatly.
