Wayne Campbell Willoughby

January 15, 1938 - March 5, 2019

Peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 5, 2019 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (2017). Loving Father to Glenn, Jim (Karen), and Dwayne (Margaret). Adored Grandad of Helen and Matt. Dear brother of June, Fred (deceased) and Margaret (deceased). Wayne will be deeply missed by many extended family and friends.

A private family interment has taken place at Park Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Dorothy Ley Hospice and would be greatly appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the entire staff at Dorothy Ley Hospice for their compassionate care.

We had the best Granddad in the world! We have fond memories of our childhood where we would spend days on his sailboat, swimming, going out for dinner (fish and chips), and going to the movies. We feel so grateful for the time we spent with him. He enriched our lives with love, humour and kindness. We will miss our Granddad everyday, and he will constantly be in our thoughts. We know that he is reunited with our Nana and at peace. Love you forever Granddad!!

My sympathy goes out to Helen and Matt, their parents, and their uncles. From being a friend of Barb's, I became a friend of theirs, and then of Wayne's. He and I shared a fondness for fish and chips, which Barbara permitted us to indulge once in a while. We have now lost both halves of a very special pair.

Uncle Wayne has been in my memory all my life and I remember him as my handsome young uncle...he was only 10 years older than I am. He was a wonderful man and I will always remember his laugh. I am sorry boys for your loss I know you will miss him.
