Dr. Stevenson was our dogs vet. He was our friend. My wife and I were so sad when we heard the news of his passing. He will be missed. God Bless you and R.I.P.
My sympathies go out to Warren's family.
Warren was a fun loving friend, a room mate during college years and a colleague.
My deepest condolences. Dr Stevenson was the veterinarian for 20 years to Sox and Sabrina, my 2 Maine Coon cats. He was a very kind man and I will never forget how comfortable he made me feel when my cats needed medical attention. Rest in Peace.
For more than thirty years Doctor Stevenson ("Doc S") took exceptional care of our dogs: Holly, Shelby, and Abby. Whenever there was any kind of medical need for them, he was there. We knew we could count on his expertise to help the dogs in whatever way was needed.
Doc S was always compassionate, understanding, caring and willing to listen to our anxious words. And he imprinted those characteristics on our dogs. When many other dogs would fight to enter the practice, my three charged in to greet everyone. Then, Doc S would come into the waiting room with his infectious smile. And the dogs greeted him with a rapidly wagging tail and lick of his hand, never shy of whatever was coming, especially Abby.
He was always gentle, soft spoken, a good teacher. He explained complex medical issues and treatments in a way we could more easily understand.
His great wit was hard to compete with. A wonderful sense of humour, a boisterous laugh, and his love for music has also given us many interesting, cherished and enjoyable memories.
I am so grateful for Doc S, after all these thirty plus years, for his exceptional vet skills and gifts. He was a rare and humble individual. If ever anyone was more gifted to be a vet, Doc S sure was. I will deeply miss him.
God Bless this wonderful doctor,
Holly, Shelby, Abby ... myself.
So sorry you slipped away so quickly; but hopefully your body is at peace now. I hope you have the gift of music lying with you....I will always remember the time we spent in the office with the radio playing all the old favourites - musicals and classical tunes that you new and loved so well. I was always amazed to hear what you new about the music we heard; the movie it came from, the conductor, the year - you knew it all! I hope you can enjoy it all for eternity.
