In Celebration of

Wallace H.D. Trewin

August 24, 1955 -  July 30, 2017

Wallace "Wally" Trewin, photographer, musician and much more, tragically passed away at the age of 61. Beloved son of the late Jean and Bruce Trewin. Cherished brother of Joanne (Steven Goodman) and the late Gordon. Wally had many talents and a brilliant mind. He read voraciously and possessed an incredibly vast knowledge on an array of topics. It was always a pleasure engaging in conversation with him as you would always learn something new. He was a fascinating man with an incredible sense of humour and his addictive laugh was so contagious! Wally was also one of the most caring and giving people who would often put his friend's and family's needs before his own. This has been devastating news for all of us. Everyone that had the pleasure to know him well will take away some great memories of this very special person. Wally will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed.

Family and friends may call to pay their respects at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., between Islington and Kipling Aves., in Etobicoke on Wednesday, August 9 from 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 1 p.m. Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery. Remembrances to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Joanne, I am terribly sorry to hear about your brother. You were a good and kind sister to him and I am sure you have wonderful memories. I am sorry I cannot attend the service as I am out of the country but I will be thinking of you.

Extremely sad and sorry to hear of Wally's passing. So many fond memories of the very silly things we got up to when we were kids. Wally and I once got into trouble for roller skating to Millwood Public School. My best love and respects to you, Joanne.

What a terrible loss! I remember some fun times back in the day! From his picture it doesn't look like he changed too much. RIP sweet soul.
