In Celebration of

William Henry Michael Wilson, B.Eng., MBA

March 31, 1941 - February 19, 2026

With great sadness but tremendous gratitude for his life, we announce the passing of Mike Wilson, peacefully and with family at his side, on February 19, 2026.

Born March 31, 1941, in Westmount, Quebec, he was the only child of the late William Henry Wilson and the late Estelle Myra Wilson (nee Bowden) and spent much of his early life in Pointe Claire Quebec, where he attended John Rennie High School.

He received a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) from McGill University in 1963, where he was a member of the Engineering Honours Society (Phi Epsilon Alpha). In 1968 he obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario which led to a successful business career with NCR, Standard Brands and Nabisco.

Mike was married to the love of his life, Claire Wilson (nee Hamilton), for almost 62 years and together they had two beloved children, the late Susanna Claire Weeks (Mike) and William Henry Hamilton Wilson (Dawn). He is also survived by four grandchildren, Matthew Weeks, Aidan Weeks, Rachel Wilson, and Henry Wilson, whom he absolutely adored.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the nurses and doctors in the Coronary Care Unit at St. Joseph’s Health Centre for their kind, attentive and expert care.

A private family service will be held, followed at a later date by a memorial Service at Kingsway Lambton United Church.

If desired, donations to the Salvation Army, Kingsway Lambton United Church, or a charity of your choosing would be much appreciated.
