It is with full hearts and cherished memories that the family of Vivian Lolato announces her peaceful passing. Born on March 15, 1940, in Toronto, Vivian grew up in Port Credit with her parents, Ezio and Osanna Pellegrini, and her beloved twin sister, Norma Guertin.
Vivian was the loving wife of Dan Lolato (deceased) and together they raised three children who were her pride and joy: Karen Tilemans (Twan), Michael Lolato (Jackie Laberge), and Joanne Lolato (David McCormack). Vivian embraced each of them with unconditional love and guidance.
For many years, Vivian was the warm and welcoming face behind the information desk at Mississauga Hospital. With her grace, patience, and genuine care for others, she became a comforting presence for countless families and visitors. Her ability to bring calm and kindness to those around her was one of her greatest gifts.
Family meant everything to Vivian. She deeply loved her sister’s children, niece Lisa Guertin (Dominic Adorno) and nephew Jeff Guertin (Song and baby Sophia) as well as her extended family— Ryan Tilemans, Emily Tilemans (Sean Moore and children Hadley and Landon), and in-laws Mike and Erminia Harding, John and Pauline Castilloux, Del and Vera Lolato, and Les Guertin —and the many nieces and nephews who enriched her life with joy and affection.
Vivian was an experienced bowler and avid Euchre player, always ready for some friendly competition, she liked to crochet, and enjoyed High Tea. Vivian cherished the simple pleasures that brought people together and enjoyed moments filled with conversation, laughter, and companionship.
Vivian loved to spoil her grandchildren, Lauren and Alyssa Tilemans. She showered them with endless love, pride, and encouragement. To them, she was a source of comfort and boundless affection.
Vivian will be remembered for her generosity and the kindness she extended to everyone she met.
She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and endlessly, and who will continue to carry her lessons, her laughter, and her love in their hearts.
She will now join her loved ones that passed before her, may she rest in peace.
