Josie … Deepest Sympathy ..my heart goes out to you Anthony , Nicholas and the family .. When Deb told me she heard that Vince had passed .. I was flooded with emotions and memories of Vince and all the years we spent laughing and telling stories to each other .. Vince's humour was in a class of its own.. every time I walked in to see him a smile would automatically come to my face .. he was like a brother not just a friend .. to be in his company was something you always looked forward too.. his discussions on any topic or about any individual always depended on wether it was a serious discussion where he would voice his opinions that were right on!! But you knew that eventually his wit would suddenly turn any discussion to laughter.. my God I’ve seen him work a room full of people and you could hear the laughter from everyone that he engaged with.. except when someone was getting out of line .. his one liners or sarcastic statements would put them in their place in a heartbeat!!! Vince was one of those people that when he walked into a room he had a presence.. and respect of everyone..There was a rumour once a number of years ago that I had died .. I was aware of it and when I suddenly seen Vince’s number calling I answered it with ā€œHEAVEN .. DOUG SPEAKING ā€œ.. I can’t repeat what he began yelling but we both broke into laughter!! .. Yesterday I called Vince’s number numerous times but there was no answer …. Vince .. until we’re together again .. hold a chair for me at the table .. I’m going to miss you here.. but I know I’ll see you again up there.. Love Ya!! Again Josie.. there’s nothing I can say except stay strong .. he wouldn’t want it any other way !!
