Vera Pajger

July 3, 1925 - October 6, 2018

It is with profound sadness that the family of Vera Pajger (née Dimitrijevic) announces her passing unexpectedly on Saturday October 6th, 2018 at the age of 93.
Vera is survived by her daughters Nena von Bogen (Thilo), Mira Stefanovic (Petar), grandson Misa Stefanovic (Heather), granddaughter Vera von Bogen-Cormier (Chris); great grandchildren Victoria, Alexander, Marko and Mila. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jaroslav, brother Zivko and grandson Marko.
Vera and Jaroslav moved to Canada from Belgrade, Serbia in 1985 to be close to their children and grandchildren. Vera was a strong, devoted and loving mother, aunt, grandmother and ultimately great grandmother, loved and respected by many and sadly missed by all.
Friends may call on at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. West, at Windermere, Sunday, October 14th, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, October 15th at 1:00 p.m., followed by interment at Park Lawn Cemetery.

Dearest friends. I have always said that if I gave you a dime for every time I thought of you, you would be millionaires by now. I often walk by pani Pajger's house. We are so sorry for your loss. She was a really neat, classy, wise and beautiful woman who treated Peter and me like family. We will see you on the weekend. All of our love and sympathies, N & P.

Dearest Nena and Mira with your Families
I was saddened to learn of your Mother’s passing.I remember her warmth fondly..Her love for all in her Family was obvious.I always wished that I could converse with her in her own language.Unfortunately,I am out of province in Nova Scotia and unable to attend her services.Please know that you all are in my thoughts at this most difficult of times.May you find comfort in your memories and each other.
