April 7, 1958 - September 1, 2017

Passed away suddenly on Friday September 1, 2017 at Trillium Health Partner’s, Mississauga Hospital. Pre deceased by his beloved mother Ona, survived by his father Kestutis. Cherished husband of Shirley for over 28 years. Loving father to Rachel, and William. Will be especially missed by his aunt and god mother Susana Lembertas (late Kazys). Forever remembered by his sister Egle (Marc). Fondly missed by his mother in law Rene (late Bill), many nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters in law. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Wednesday from 4-6 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Church of The Resurrection (1 Resurrection Road) on Thursday September 7, 2017 at 11am. Interment St. John's Lithuanian Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Trillium Health Partners or to Sick Kids Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Truly sorry to hear about Val passing. My heartfelt condolences to the whole family. I was at Humberside Collegiate with Val. We also partied at camp Romuva back in the day. Val was the kindest person and will be missed. Rest in peace Val❤️

Heartfelt condolences to Shirley, and your children Rachel and William, on the loss of your beloved Val, taken away much too soon. Also, to Egle, the sudden loss of your dear brother must be devastating as well. Those of us who have known Val since birth are grieving, having only good memories of him.
