In Celebration of

Tony Fang-Teck Loh

February 27, 1945 - November 5, 2025

Tony passed away at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at the age of 80, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Esther. Loving father of Alvin and his wife Corrine. Much loved grandfather of Jon and his wife Rachel, Aaron and Sam. Cherished brother of Fang Kum, Daniel, Diana and Doris, and fun uncle of Ryan, Lizzie, Andrew, Anthony and Tracy.

Tony was born in Singapore and attended Raffles Institution, where he shined as a leader of the rugby team, and in judo. He worked in Singapore International Airlines, travelling the world, and always bringing back treats for his family. He moved to Canada at age 30, and after a few different jobs, worked at Sulzer Medica for many years, eventually as their warehouse manager. His life changed radically in 1985 when he married Esther and adopted Alvin. He loved food and was a great cook, although he "retired" from cooking after he married Esther. He enjoyed golf and collecting and watching movies and shows, and most of all, spending time with his family. Although he struggled with diabetes and dialysis for many years, he rarely complained and was thankful for simple blessings. After his quadruple bypass surgery in 2021, he would often sing "One day at a time, sweet Jesus" to Esther, to remind her to relax and trust God. He was a big fan of "The Chosen" series but he was the biggest fan of his grandsons, and so proud of the young men they had become. He will always be remembered for his passion for life, hearty laugh, and his loyal love for his family and friends.

Private family arrangements to be held.
