In Celebration of

Tiffany Skrela

November 9, 1992 -  October 19, 2022

Our beautiful angel, Tiffany Christina Skrela, 29, passed away peacefully on October 19th at her home in Mississauga, surrounded by her family.

Tiffany will be greatly missed by her mother, Natalie and her sister, Nicole, her great-aunt Dranja, her aunt Dila (Pjeter), her uncles Alexander and Victor (Sandra), and her cousins, John, Jacqueline, Adrian, Alexa, Christian, Martin, Jacklyn, Jennifer (Frank), Fiona (Steven), and Andre (Lyra). She is predeceased by her father, Vata, her grandparents Mark, Prena, Nikoll and Maria, and her aunt, Victoria (Preka).

Tiffany was born November 9th, 1992, at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga. She enjoyed a happy suburban life that included playdates, cheerleading and backyard pool parties. She excelled both academically and socially, graduating from Wilfred Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Communications. Upon graduation, she joined a PR firm, working her way up to the position of Account Executive. It was the perfect job for our organized, tailored, and ambitious girl. She loved her career, and of course, she made many friends and connections through it. Tiffany didn’t allow cancer to stop her from chasing her dreams. She travelled, she enjoyed life, and at work she was the consummate professional, putting clients first, then scheduling her chemo treatments on late Friday afternoons so she could be on her “A” game the following Monday morning.

Tiffany was a loyal and protective Skrela, carrying her family name and heritage proudly. She adored her sister, respected her mother and father, doted on her grandparents and great-aunt, and talked to her cousins daily. She loved her family and always had their backs.

To those closest to her, Tiffany was known as “TT”. TT was the quintessential “It Girl” – a beautiful, saavy young businesswoman with magnificent fashion sense, a refined culinary palate, and a talent for finding the party in any moment. Tiffany was charming. For proof, you didn't have to look any further than the long list of amazing friends she made, all of whom we know will miss her just as much as we do. We thank you for your love and support of Tiffany these last few years. She could get through some of her worst days because you were there.

What else can we say about our TT? Daughter, sister, granddaughter, goddaughter, niece, cousin, friend, co-worker. Foodie. Fashionista. Theo’s dog mom. A stubborn force to be reckoned with. The unrelenting voice of truth. The person who demanded you demand the best for yourself. Cool, focused, funny, intelligent. Secretly a softy. Definitely stylish. Most definitely our hero. There is so much more that could be said, there is so much more that should be said, but in the end, she was a girl who fiercely loved us and we fiercely loved her back. What a gift that was. Thank you TT.

A visitation for Tiffany will be held on Sunday October 23rd. Services will be held Monday October 24th with the burial following the service. See Funeral Details below.

Flowers are welcome at Turner & Porter Funeral Home the morning of October 23rd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rethink Breast Cancer, a charity close to Tiffany’s heart.

Rest in peace sweet angel TT. Sleep softly with your dad. We love you and miss you. You are in our hearts forever.

The Skrela family is one of the most loving and welcoming families I have ever had the pleasure to encounter. Each member of the family lights up the room when they walk in and Tiffany certainly did that. May she rest in eternal peace and May God grant the family strength during these times. May you sleep peacefully with your father and grandparents.
