<div itemprop="description">After a long struggle with illness, Tom passed peacefully at home with his wife of 52 years, at his side. Dearly loved husband of Brenda Astri Haywood. Loving father of Sharon Haywood and her husband Facundo Valle, and Vincent Haywood. Brother of Brian Haywood (Dawna). Son in law of Al and Sarah Astri. Will be missed by his niece Eden and nephew Matthew. Predeceased by his parents Thomas Henry and Mary Haywood. He was well known to his friends and family as a happy, jolly person, always with a smile for you, and a pleasure to be around. Tom had a full 40 years of dedicated service with Canada Post. Upon retirement, a part time 10 year associate with Home Depot. Friends may call at the Turner &amp; Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves.) on Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 3914 Bloor St. W., Etobicoke, on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Mt. Peace Cemetery, Mississauga.</div>
