In Celebration of

Theresa Joyce Hansch

August 7, 1939 -  April 9, 2018

Theresa Joyce Hansch, nee Butler, age 78, passed away Monday, April 9th, at Lakeridge Health in Bowmanville, surrounded by her loved ones at 4:09pm. She was born August 7th 1939 in Toronto, to the late Alexandr Butler and Antoinnette Butler, nee Steckenreiter.

She was married to her best friend, Richard Alexander Hansch, for over 40 years before he passed away in 2004. She was blessed with a large and loving family. She was a mother of four, a grandmother of two and a great-grandmother of seven with another little one on the way.

Theresa was a larger than life person, whom was always there to lend an ear and give loving advice. She touched the hearts of everyone who knew her and would be the first to help someone in need. She always had time to answer a question, or solve a problem, no matter how small.

She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who take solace in knowing that she is now at peace with her creator and reunited with all of her loved ones that have passed on before her.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Theresa touched, are invited to Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St W, Toronto, (just east of the Jane Subway) on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. for the viewings. Funeral Service to be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel for a time to reminisce, grieve, support each other, chat, and of course, to say goodbye.

Oh woman. Where do I begin. You were so lovely to have had here. But even though you are gone from earth YOUR memory will live on . The sting doesn't hurt any less . But I know you were more than blessed with a beautiful family. Your love was unconditional no matter how far or close anyone was . I leave you with all my love . We meet again one day. But for now you rest . Sweet dreams . Pretty lady. Xoxo your still the best .
