Peacefully, on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Rivera- Westside, Etobicoke, at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Carmine. Adored mother of Anna Maria Tibando (the late Murray) and the late Giuseppe Spadafora (Anna). Devoted grandmother of Michael (Elizabeth), Gino (Nadia), Teresa Carinci (John), Emily Vrancic (Damir), Teresa Spadafora and Debbie Franceschi (Mauro). She will be lovingly remembered by her 12 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren

A private family service will be held.

Entombment Assumption Mausoleum.

Cara Zia Teresa, we were deeply saddened by your passing Dec 23, 2020. Our hearts are heavy with so many wonderful memories at Chelsea Ave. We grew up together, 6 doors and one lane away from your home.

Zia Teresa was more like a second mother/grandmother to us. She always was so happy to see us even if it was everyday, since we lived so close to each other. It was comforting knowing she lived across the street from the closest neighborhood park and would watch over us. There was always an abundance of sweets and treats waiting for us, as well as big hugs and kisses.

We celebrated so many Easter’s, Christmas’s, New Year parties together, hosted by you with such love and care. Zia was one of the loveliest, kindest, sweetest souls we have ever encountered. When we think of her, and her spirit it brings us absolute joy! She will be so missed, but we take comfort in knowing that she is with her beloved husband Zio Carmen, son Joseph, brothers Carmen, Pietro, Giovanni, Eugenio and Michele are having a celebration welcoming her to heaven. We love you Zia more than words can express!
